Sucking up to Celebrities #1

I've titled this as "#1" because I anticipate there to be further instalments in this exciting and sporadic series.

In our defence, we don't suck up to celebrities. We genuflect at the altar of greatness. We reserve our adoration for those who have made a mark on our lives, and the easiest way to do this is to make us laugh.

Our in-house Rocket Scientist Baz is a MASSIVE history nerd, and has been listening to We Have Ways Of Making You Talk, a WW2 podcast by Al Murray and James Holland. (When I say "listening", you all know that I mean "obsessively hyperfocusing on".) When we snagged tickets to see Al's Guv Island show, including a meet and greet before the show, Baz couldn't resist knocking up a little gift to take with us. So obviously he made a personalised PIAT round.

Apparently, if you know, you know. I do not know. But both Baz and Al were delighted with it, so that's nice.

However, since Al mainly uses Twitter for his fan comms, it means that I now have to suck it up and create a CA Twitter account in order to shamelessly spam him in the hope of some shares. Please know that I am resentfully glowering at Anal Musk as I register.

Al, thanks for the dolphin impression. It was breathtaking.
